Same Actions, Same Results

“If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten.” ~ Tony Robbins

Same actions produce same results.  To make that shift, new ways of doing things are necessary.  New behaviors can also transform your way of thinking, which allow for even more of a change (as long as it’s all positive).

This is not to say any kind of change is quick or easy, it never is.  But if something is not working or producing the outcome you desire, we must think of how we can alter ourselves and actions to produce the end result we are desiring.

I am not the same person, nor do I do the same things I did 5 years ago or even 10 years ago.  I am constantly varying my actions, behaviors and way of thinking to find what works best for me in all aspects of my life.

Don’t stay in a rut.  Change one little thing today in your life and see what outcome is.  You might be surprised.

Remember, you can’t expect different results by doing the same actions.

Are You Settling?

Are you settling for less than you want and need in any area of your life?

Why are you settling?  What is the fear behind it?

What do you fear would happen if you stopped settling?

What new belief about what’s possible for you can you work toward?

What would the first small step be if you were to act as if this belief were true?

These questions are part of an exercise I am going to work on this weekend.  Journaling the answers without censoring.

Won’t you join me?

Let’s grow together.

The Difference

“The difference between try and triumph is a little umph.” — Unknown

We can talk and imagine and visualize, but without some type of action, our dreams and goals will never come to pass.

Where Do I Go From Here?

Do you have those days where you feel stagnant?  When you are not sure what you are supposed to be doing to progress towards your goal?

Usually meditating on my “future self” helps to direct me back to my path.  Not all the time, but most of the time.

What do you do when you are stuck?

Do You Ever Feel…..?

Everyone knows “Fireworks” by Katy Perry.  All of the lyrics are very empowering.

One of my favorites —

“Maybe a reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road”

It’s a new year, the year you find and open the door to YOUR perfect road.

Are you with me?

For Our Highest Good

We often see good, strong, wonderful people going through terrible times and we don’t understand why because our vision is limited to what we observe with our eyes.  We don’t see the bigger picture to understand that the most difficult and painful things we all go through in our lives are there for our highest good and to help us attain another level in our spiritual growth.

Facing Problems

“Anyone can run away, it’s super easy.  Facing problems and working through them, that’s what makes you strong.”

Everyone has had those times when you just want to pre-occupy yourself with something else and ignore the issue, hoping it will go away or solve itself.  We know that doesn’t happen.

When I find myself in that starting block, ready to run, I reach out to people in my support circle.  They set me straight and keep me from sprinting away from the situation.  And it doesn’t even have to be advice or suggestions, sometimes just talking about it out loud helps to diffuse it so it’s manageable to me and not so daunting.  I try to keep the outlook that this is an experience to learn from, to grow and expand from.

These situations in retrospect have given me strength and I am glad I can look back and see that.
