The real world doesn’t give us all the answers. We must find them within.
The universe usually only gives us a small amount of information and the rest we must discover and learn for ourselves.
I have a friend/spiritual teacher that I sometimes ask spiritual questions. And these can be kind of specific about handling a situation or emotion or feeling. As I should expect from him, he responds with a very thought-provoking answer, but not a specific answer. He knows that I must truly find the answer myself. He can give me clues and talk around the answer but will never give me the answer.
A Chinese proverb says, “Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself.”
I now know what this means.
The greatest teacher is inside me. I must experience life my way and with my decisions. I can have guidance with a gentle nudge here or there but I must listen to my inner voice and intuition and follow my path. Otherwise, I’m not living my life…I’m living someone else’s.
Namaste!
